There's nothing quite like that feeling when you're about to travel a long way away, for a substantial amount of time. Everyday life takes on a surreal quality.

Spoken word poetry seems to be the rising medium to fight oppression and inequality. This is exciting.

You just can't advance without failing as much as possible can you? Can you? No.

I've always had a real tendency to try to change the world on the first try. I'm slowly learning that everything needs to be tested at least once first, without the lofty, overbearing goal of world peace distracting from the practicalities.
